Air-frying the frozen sweet potato fries is incredibly easy and less messy than using a normal fryer. They are perfect if you need a quick side dish for lunch/dinner or a healthy afternoon snack with some dip. Keep scrolling for some quick and easy dip ideas to serve with your sweet potato fries.

Air fryer is one of my favorite kitchen tools and I use it often for making healthy and delicious recipes such as Fish Sticks in Air Fryer, Air Fryer Sausage, Easy Air Fryer Crab Cakes, Easy Air Fryer Hamburgers, and Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts. Air frying is much faster than using an oven and healthier than using a deep fryer. Also, there is less cleaning up to do afterward!

    Why This Recipe Works?

    • Making Sweet Potato Fries in Air Fryer is quick, clean, and easy, and they come out perfectly crispy every time.
    • Air frying the frozen sweet potatoes is healthier than deep-frying them, with exactly the same crispiness.
    • You can serve them as a healthy side dish for dinner or as a snack with your favorite dip.
    • Air-frying frozen sweet potato fries is extremely easy, especially if you are a beginner.

    • Frozen sweet potato fries - You can use any of your favorite brands of regular-cut sweet potato fries. This recipe is made with medium-cut fries, and you should adjust the timing depending on the thickness of your fries.
    • Salt - It is optional. Check the packaging before cooking them as some frozen sweet potato fries are already salted.
    • Chili Jam and mayonnaise - I love dipping sweet potato fries in this dip I make with homemade Thai Style Tomato Chili Jam and mayonnaise. Strongly advised, but optional!

How to Cook Frozen Sweet Potato Fries in Air Fryer?

Cooking Frozen Sweet Potato Fries in Air Fryer is extremely easy to make. However, to achieve the best results, you need to follow simple tips and steps:

Preheat your air fryer as you would do with your oven. Most air fryers have a preheat button, but if yours doesn't have one, simply turn your air fryer to 180°C (360°F) for 5 minutes.

When the air fryer is heated, add your frozen sweet potato fries into the basket without overcrowding it. Make sure the sweet potatoes are not overlapping each other, they should be in a single layer. Do it in two batches if your air fryer basket is not large enough to take them all.

Cook the sweet potato fries for 9 minutes, and give the basket a shake. Cook for another 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy. If you like your sweet potato fries extra crispy, cook them for a few more minutes.

Remove the fried sweet potato fries from the basket and transfer them on a serving plate with your favorite dip as a snack or as a side dish to your Lamb Beyti Kebab, Thai Fish Cakes - Tod Mun Pla, or Homemade Koftas.
