Prepare the dough for lahmacun with water, flour, olive oil and salt. Knead until you form a soft and smooth dough. Divide it into 6 equal pieces and turn them into small balls.

Prepare the mince filling while the dough balls are resting. Blitz or finely chop the vegetables, mix with minced meat, spices and chopped parsley.

Roll out the dough balls into thin circles size of 25 cm (9 ½”) Ø. Place 2 dough circles on a large sheet tray. Divide your mixture into 6.

Spread ⅙ of the mixture on a dough circle evenly and thinly. Gently press on the filling to make sure it sticks to the dough. Repeat the same with the remaining dough circles and filling.

Bake them until they are crispy on the outside and the filling is thoroughly cooked. Transfer them on a large plate, cover them with tin foil to keep them warm.

Serve them with a generous squeeze of lemon juice, freshly cut red onions, tomatoes and cucumbers. Click 👇 "learn more" button for the full recipe and tips.
