This Italian pasta dish is comforting and easy to put together. You don't need a huge list of expensive ingredients to create Bolognese Sauce.

To make this classic Italian meat sauce, brown the mince in a large pot or a dutch oven until it release its fat.

Add the small diced celery and carrots, sauté them together for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon.

When the vegetables are softened enough, deglaze the pan with red wine. Let the alcohol evaporate then add the tomato paste.

Add chilli (optional) along with tomatoes, black pepper, sugar, milk, beef stock, bay leaves and thyme. Stir well until combined.

Stir occasionally while cooking to make sure there is enough liquid and it doesn’t stick to the bottom. Check the seasoning and add salt if needed.

Garnish with some grated parmesan and chopped parsley. Click on 👇 "learn more" for the full recipe with step-by-step instructions.
