This popular Middle Eastern dish is a delicious and healthy way to enjoy succulent, tender lamb meat with a wide range of flavors and spices.

To prepare the marinade, juice the grated using a clean kitchen cloth or a fine sieve. Put it in a bowl with the rest of the marinade ingredients, mix well to combine.

Add the lamb and cover them with marinade. Cover the bowl with a lid and keep in the fridge to marinate ideally overnight or for a minimum of 6 hours.

Thread the lamb meat and the vegetables on separate skewers. Don't overload the skewers, the pieces of lamb should be close just to touch each other.

Cook them on a hot grill or BBQ for soft and delicious kebabs. The size of 4 to 5 cm cubes would require 14 minutes to 16 minutes of cooking time.
