Mercimek Kofte is a healthy and flavourful Turkish dish made with fine bulgur, red lentils, onions, tomato & red pepper paste, and spices.

These vegan meatballs are inexpensive and very easy to make. They are usually served as an appetizer, a healthy snack, or a part of a mezze platter.

While the bulgur is swelling, place the onions in a frying pan with olive oil. Gently sauté them on low heat until soft and translucent.
