Ingredients

  • 400 g turkey tenderloins (100 grams each)
  • 1 tablespoon good quality olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme or oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, milk, salt, paprika, dried thyme or oregano, and freshly ground black pepper to create a marinade.
  • Place the turkey tenderloins in the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight. You can skip this step if you don't have time.
  • Preheat the oven to 356°F (180°C).
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Sear the marinated turkey tenderloins in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.
  • Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake the turkey tenderloins for approximately 18-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the turkey is fully cooked, with the internal temperature reaching 165°F (75°C).
  • Once cooked, remove the turkey tenderloins from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Marinate the turkey tenderloins for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight, but no longer than 24 hours before cooking.
  • Preheat your oven to the correct temperature before baking the turkey tenderloin.
  • Sear the turkey tenderloins in a skillet before baking to lock in juices and add a flavorful golden crust.
  • To avoid overcooking, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the turkey. It should reach 165°F (75°C) for safe consumption.
  • Allow the meat to rest for a few minutes after cooking to redistribute the juices for tender and more flavorful meat.
  • When slicing the cooked turkey tenderloin, cut against the grain.
